COULD YOUR ORAL HEALTH BE HARMING YOUR HEART?

As we all know that health is the most important factor. What else on the earth do we need rather than health? Do you know the health of our entire body depends on the oral health? Let me know, have you got any sorts of oral health problems? If yes, then it is a sign of danger for the health for your heart too. Oral health plays a vital role for healthy lives of the people. Generally, oral health problems refer to be free from the mouth and other pains i.e. facial pain, oral infection, and sores, tooth problems etc. these problems can have a connection with the heart too. Both the oral health and hearts are interrelated with each other.

Does oral health harm the Heart?

Due to intoxicant substances such as tobacco, smoking, oral health gets adversely affected. But no one can say that oral health leads to a heart attack in an adverse manner but we can say that oral health helps to improve the condition of the health. Thus, good oral health helps for better care of it. The mutual factor in oral health and heart is inflammation. However, different studies have also found out that people having periodontal has more chances to heart disease rather than those with good oral health. However, we can say that inflammation caused in oral health due to gum disease triggers the clot formation. Thus, the decreased clots flow to the heart that causes an elevation in blood pressure which, therefore, increases the risk of heart attack. Thus, one needs to have an appropriate oral health so that there is a less chance in causing different health related problems. One can also prevent their oral health by the effective medium of oral health study and preventing themselves being free from the mouth and other oral infection pains.

There are some of the points that represent oral health harms the heart in several ways:

1. Both oral health and heart diseases are caused by inflammation which harms the heart.
2. The gum disease itself is a risk factor for causing coronary artery disease.
3. Also, clogged arteries in the gums damage the health.
4. Bacteria’s enter the blood stream, elevation in blood pressure and increasing the risk of a heart attack.

Thus, the effective way to have a good oral health and heart is to prevent gums diseases, having knowledge about oral health, having regular dental check-ups, getting professional cleanings, healthy eating habits, brushing twice a day which is a very important factor so that there’ll be a less chance in oral and dental problems as well as less chance in harming the health related problems.

Also, antibiotics prescribed by dentists should only be used in terms of any oral/ dental problems. Without prescription of lead to unhygienic oral health. As well as, stopping gum disease is the healthy way to keep not only your oral health but also staying away from heart problems.
